As quoted in The Dining Out Guide:
"The
Best Steaks In Town"
"Over the past ten years, Gregory's has earned a superior
reputation for serving only the finest in Angus Beef and the freshest of fresh
local and northern seafood. There is not another establishment that serves a
better steak, anywhere! This popular Cocoa Beach restaurant is owned and
operated by Brigitte Krause, with the able assistance of her son
Klaus and her daughter Jutta. Gregory's is open for dinner
nightly from 5 pm. These folks are German/Australian transplants serving
the finest in American Cuisine.
Gregory's décor exhibits attractive looking rustic
bookshelves that line the walls at the entrance, coquina walls are the cocktail
bar's backdrop, elegantly set tables and comfortable booths dressed with nice
linen tablecloths and napkins, finish off the dimmed Tiffany lit dining area.
Even though the atmosphere is quite elegant, the dress code is very casual and
very relaxed. You're just going to love this place!
Gregory's has generated a menu featuring a wide variety
of today's most popular entrees and making selections could become somewhat
difficult for first time diners. So, let a long time regular offer some
suggestions. Appetizer selections should include: LOBSTERAKI -
five pieces of fresh Maine lobster meat & a slice of water chestnut, wrapped in
bacon and topped with homemade teriyaki sauce and sprinkled with toasted sesame
seeds; SUSHI TUNA - the freshest sushi grade tuna, pan seared and
served with an Asian Slaw; GARLIC SHRIMP, large premium shrimp sautéed
in spicy, fresh garlic jerk Cajun sauce. These three appetizers are unequaled,
anywhere! Although a very ample house salad with choice of homemade
dressing is offered with each entrée, please do yourselves a favor and order the
extra toll, HOT SPINACH SALAD. It is a wonderful combination of
fresh spinach and crispy bacon served with a unique homemade warm sweet & sour
dressing with onions and fresh mushrooms. A freshly baked mini loaf of
bread arrives with appetizer or salad.
If you're a beef lover, like me, then you should definitely order Gregory's most
popular steak, the Baseball Cut Sirloin. If you want to continue
following my instructions, I would order this popular steak medium-rare.
It will be the most flavorful steak you've ever tasted, anywhere! The
accompanying homemade Teriyaki sauce is good and so thick it will cling to each
bite of your steak. If you prefer a New York Strip, Delmonico or
Porterhouse cut of Certified Angus Beef you may want to try their wonderful
mushroom & garlic wine sauce. All sauces are expertly hand-made by
Chef Lonnie, who has been a fixture at Gregory' since day one! Lonnie
is ably assisted byBrigitte's son, Chef Klaus.
Although a few varieties of fresh fish are offered each evening and are always
outstanding choices, their Butterfly Fried Shrimp are the biggest and
best in town! You'll get seven Jumbo (but they're closer to the size of
prawns) fresh shrimp that have been hand-breaded and deep-fried to a golden
brown and served with a nice tangy homemade cocktail sauce. Two other
highly recommended seafood entrees are the Shrimp & Scallop Combination
and the Seafood Platter. Both platters flaunt those Jumbo Shrimp
I was telling you about and also large Canadian Sea Scallops that you won't find
in any other restaurant around here!
If you have room, check out their "Don't Dessert Us, Now!" menu and
their After Dinner Cordial and Coffee Menu. I recommend the Tiramisu for
dessert. It's certainly, my favorite! Gregory's is open for dinner
from 5-10:30 nightly. Gregory' Upstairs presents
Gregory's Comedy Club
every Thursday evening. The doors open at 7:30 and the show
begins at 9 pm. One visit is all that it will take to make Gregory's Steak
& Seafood Grille your favorite restaurant too!"
